ĦĦĦĦAt 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. on October 23 (Lunar September 20), he was born in the former residence at Dizang Lane, Hedong, Tianjin. His grandfather, Li Rui, originally from Pinghu, Zhejiang Province, was a Tianjin-based businessman operating the salt trading and the banking. His father, Li Shizhen, with another name of Xiaolou, was a scholar at the 4th year in Emperor Tongzhi's Reign of Qing Dynasty, and served as the chief of the Ministry of Official Personnel Affairs, and later resigned to take over the family business and finally became a wealthy person in Tianjin. He was the third child in the family, with a name of Chengxi, and also went by the names Wentao and Shutong.
